Welcome to the Red Lion. Located in the picturesque village of Oldtown, with ample parking, today the Red Lion is as popular as it has always been with both locals and visitors.


A 16th Century coaching inn built in 1721 it guarantees a traditional pub atmosphere, known throughout the region for it's traditional pub food, cask ales, continental lagers and a warm welcome.

 

The Red Lion has a local reputation for excellent home cooked meals served every day at lunchtimes and evenings.

 

 

 

Food is served Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 3pm and 6pm to 9pm and at weekends from 12 noon to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm.

The Red Lion is a genuine, friendly, traditional pub and is full of character. Award winning and locally brewed real ales by Timothy Taylor, Eastwoods, IPA are always available plus guest beers at very keen prices.

 

You can enjoy our various themed evenings or just a quiet drink in front of our original fireplaces in a convivial atmosphere.
